77 Apologies for Absence
Cllr Cheetham. Having been informed of the reason for her absence, Council approved her apologies for absence.
78 Declarations of Interest.
None received.
79 Approval of the Minutes of the last meeting, held on Monday 8th April 2024.
Resolved. That the Minutes of the last meeting be approved as a true record.
Proposed Cllr Spink. Seconded Cllr Stringer. Carried unanimously.
80 Matters Arising from the Minutes of the Last meeting not covered in this Agenda.
None received.
81 Amendments to the Agenda by Resolution.
Gallagher Insurance be dealt with under item 91 Finance.
Annual Governance and Accountability be dealt with under 91 Finance.
Proposed Cllr Goodacre. Seconded Cllr Kopetzki. Carried unanimously.
82 New Village Signs.
Cllr Goodacre will contact Signs Of The Times for the present position.
83 Project on the Playing Field. Newton on Trent Primary School.
Clerk to finish the Councils point of view.
A meeting will then be arranged as soon as convenient for all parties.
84 One Earth Solar Projects.
Public consultation Saturday 8th June 2024. 1200.- 4.00 pm in St Peter’s Church Newton on Trent. Members of the Parish Council will attend.
85 Highways Issues. Footpath to Dunham Bridge.
The verge is wide enough to accommodate a footpath as long as the vegetation is cut back to allow access.
The Clerk will contact Highways and Cllr Butroid for more information.

Elector complaint regarding the speed of traffic along the A1133 (Lincoln Lane) since the new traffic speed was introduced along the A57.

Resolved. That the Financial Statement for April be approved as a true record.

Resolved. That the Clerks salary and expenses be approved for payment.

Resolved. That the above expenses at 91.c be approved for payment.
