Councillors are summoned to attend.
THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE PARISH COUNCIL to be held on Monday 3rd May 2021 beginning at7.00 pm.
Zoom Technology.
Members of the public and press are cordially invited to attend.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
1. Nominations for Chairman.
2. Election of Chairman.
3. Signing of the Declaration of Acceptance of Office.
4. Those Present.
5. Apologies for Absence.
6. Nomination of Vice Chairman.
Resolution: That when the Chairman is not present for a meeting, those Councillors attending vote for one of their number to act as Chairman for that meeting only.
7. Changes to Councillors Declarations of Interest Forms.
8. Approval of Standing Orders.
Amending Standing Orders for the admittance of new members.
This was first discussed during 2019 but could not be dealt with at the 2020 Annual General Meeting as all Meetings were cancelled due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Council did not meet during April, May, June, and July 2020.
Resolutions
a. That Candidates should attend at least two meetings before voting can take place.
b. That candidates commit to at least 80% attendance for each 12-month period.
c. That candidates undertake new councillor training with the Lincolnshire Association of Local Councils, as soon as is practicable after election.
Resolution: That items a, b, and c above be adopted for inclusion in Councils Standing Orders.
9. Approval of Financial Regulations.
Possible amendment to the amount which can be spent under “Value for Money” and before three quotations need to be obtained.
10. Approval of the Code of Conduct.
11. Approval of the Minutes of the Last Annual General Meeting. Monday 13th May 2019.
