held on Monday 20th May 2024.

66    Election of Chairman.
Nominations. Cllr Goodacre.
Proposed Cllr Spink.    Sec Cllr Maddison.    Carried unanimously.
67    Signing of the Declaration of Acceptance of Office.
Declaration duly signed.
68    Those Present.
Cllr Goodacre.        Chairman.
Cllr Maddison.
Cllr Arden.
Cllr Stringer.
Cllr Kopetzki.
Cllr Cheetham.
Cllr Spink.
Mr R. Pilgrim.        Clerk. District Councillor Torksey Ward.
69    Apologies for Absence.
Cllr. Cheetham. Having been informed of the reason for her absence, Council approved her apologies for absence.
70    Nomination of Vice Chairman.

Resolution: That when the Chairman is not present for a meeting, those Councillors attending may vote for one of their number to act as Chairman for that meeting only.
Proposed Cllr Arden.    Seconded Cllr Kopetzki.    Carried unanimously.
71    Changes to Councillors Declarations of Interest Forms.
Forms duly filled in and accepted.
72    Approval of Standing Orders.
Resolved. That Standing Orders be approved without amendment.
Proposed Cllr Spink.    Seconded Cllr Maddison.    Carried unanimously.
73    Approval of Financial Regulations.
Possible amendment to the amount which can be spent under “Value for Money” and before three quotations need to be obtained.
No amendments.
74    Approval of the Code of Conduct.
The Code of Conduct was approved without amendment.
Proposed Cllr Stringer.    Seconded Cllr Arden.    Carried unanimously.
75    Approval of the Civility and Respect Policy.
The code was accepted without amendment.
Proposed Cllr Goodacre.    Seconded Cllr Kopetzki.    Carried unanimously.
